During the day, Monday to Friday, you must always contact your general practitioner before calling legevakten. The general practitioner has hours for immediate help every day and has substitutes during holidays.
What help can you get at Legevakten?
- Advice and guidance over the telephone.
- Assessment and treatment of acute injuries and illness.
- Assessment and treatment in case of acute exacerbation of chronic diseases.
If you are ill and do not have a general practitioner, you can call legevakten.
Legevakten can also help you when you are travelling or on holiday, and therefore not close to your general practitioner (fastlege).
