A course where you learn about Norwegian culture, working life in Norway, the school system, the health system and other topics
- From the time the residence permit is granted; you have 1 year to complete classes and take the test. If participating in a course is not suitable for your, you can read for yourself at samfunnskunnskap.no
- The course will be given in a language you understand and ends with an test in social studies
- You must be a resident of Tønsberg or Færder municipalities to participate

How to apply
- If you already are an participant at Tønsberg Learning Centre, please contact your teacher.
- If your not an participant at Tønsberg Learning Centre, please contact the school by telephone 33 40 68 00 or send an e-mail to tl@tonsberg.kommune.no.
If you are entitled to a free trial, you must contact us when you are ready, we will sign you up. If you have taken the test before or are not entitled to a free trial, you must register for the test yourself at kompetansenorge.no
