Two service areas
1. Qualification and training section (QT)
Norwegian- and social studies for adult immigrants
- Offer courses according to current curriculum for Norwegian education
- Organizes national test in Norwegian, social studies and Citizenship
- Offers training for residents of Færder municipality as a subcontractor to Velle Utvikling. Applicants from Færder must contact Velle Utvikling for registration on phone 452 36 852
Primary school and special education for adults
- Exam-oriented primary and lower secondary education in five subjects
- Basic skills training
- Special education and speech therapy
- Assessment of prior experiential learning in primary and lower secondary school subjects
The training is for residents of Tønsberg and Færder municipalities
2. Refugee service section (IAO)
The main goals are to qualify participants under the Act of Integration/Introduction for work or further school/studies. The section also resettles refugees in the municipality of Tønsberg after agreement with IMDi.
